Fee Simple Properties

In addition to holding conservation easements, KVLT has also acquired property that we own through purchase or donation. We protect the conservation values, allow some public access, and work with other organizations for the betterment of the land and population that we serve.

• Pedestrian bridge to new state park in Great Falls is being built on property owned by KVLT.
• Nitrolee access area provides protection of natural and historical resources in addition to providing access to the Catawba River via Fishing Creek through the non-motorized boat ramp.
• We own over 90% of the property that holds the Lindsay Pettus Greenway.
• We own land on both sides of Rocky Creek which provides public access to Rocky Creek Trail .
• We have Management Plans in place for all fee simple properties to uphold the conservation values of the land.
